Membership at the Sun City Tennis Club in Arizona offers you access to tennis courts at multiple locations, use of a tennis ball machine and participation in men's and women's tennis singles and doubles play, leagues and tournaments. We offer a free introductory tennis lesson, and Red Ball, a pickleball-like modified tennis game using half the court. Our free Red Ball class comes with instruction for play, equipment and loads of fun! The free introductory tennis lesson is held weekly at 8am, at the Lakeview Recreation Center. The Red Ball class is held at the Bell Recreation Center, Thursday at 8am.
About Sun City Tennis Club
Sun City Tennis Club is located in the Bell Recreation Center in Sun City Arizona. It offers women's and men's tennis for all levels to meet and play with their Sun City neighbors.
Our club has access to 10 courts at the Bell Recreation Center, 4 courts at the Lakeview Center, and 2 courts at the Mountain View Recreation Center. Club membership is open to all current RCSC cardholders.
Free Introductory Tennis Lesson at Sun City Tennis Club
Our introductory tennis class is available weekly at the Lakeview Recreation Center and starts at 8am. This class is for those who are new to tennis and is also beneficial for tennis players who to review their skills. ​

What you will learn in the Introductory Tennis Class:

How to hold a tennis racket and the different grips

Scoring, rules and court orientation

Execution of a forehand, backhand, serve and volley

Participate in drills to put your skills into action!​​

Sun City Coed Drop-in
Doubles Tennis
New potential members that are RCSC card holders are welcome to come try out the courts at one of our facilities. Envelopes for membership dues are found at the bulletin board before you enter the Bell Center tennis courts.​ Please check-in with the monitor at Bell before playing and sign-in on the clipboard at Mountainview.

Red Ball is a new fun and friendly adult tennis game for those interested in running less than traditional tennis. Similar to Pickleball, this modified tennis game was developed by the United States Tennis Association (USTA) to offer more individuals the opportunity to play tennis. Please register for an upcoming class or drop-in at the Bell Recreation Center Thursday mornings at 8am for a free lesson. You can also join in our weekly games at 7am at the Mountain View Recreation Center Monday-Saturday (dependent on number in attendance).

PASS (Programs for After School Success)
This community event was held on Saturday, March 1 at the Bell Tennis Courts and was a great success. Over 20 club members participated, providing fun interaction in the drills and doubles play that occurred. Thank you to everyone who came and donated their time and made donations to this important organization! A special shout out to Doug and Roger for organizing and leading the drills. The kids had a great time and showed off their impressive tennis skills. Club members could see the joy and commitment in every PASS program participant who attended this event -- and got to be a part of a wonderful experience with them.
